What is April's Big Give?

Cornerstone is always looking for a way to elevate Jesus Christ in the community by giving back. The idea of giving the offering back to the congregation did not originate with us, nor did the name. (thanks Oprah) However, we think that this will be an exciting way for us to show our community that God loves them and to encourage each of us to be more aware of those in need around us. Kangaroo Gas Station

We combined our gifts, and I took the $30 and went to the Kangaroo Quick Store @ 27 & ronald Reagan. There I "blessed" 6 people as they paid for their gas by adding $5 to what they gave the clerk. The clerk caught right on to what I was doing and she told the customers that I had shared my blessing with them. It took a few seconds for the receivers to figure it out, then they were all very thankful. It was a wonderful 40 minutes for me. - Don and Stephanie Jordan
